World Environmental Day
Like every year, this year too, World Environmental Day was celebrated by SEA International School with great enthusiasm. Many programs were organized to mark the occasion. Our respected principal, Mrs. Hemamalini addressed the students emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation.
The school premises were decorated with eco-friendly materials and posters highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
The school also organized a tree plantation drive where students planted saplings to promote greenery. Apart from that nearby areas were selected for a tree plantation drive where our students, accompanied by some teachers, planted trees. Our X students demonstrated the preparation of organic manure using mud, dry leaves and kitchen waste.
SEA ICSE School also organized a recycling championship in association with ITC WOW (Well Being Out of Waste) for our students where they carried old books, notebooks, textbooks, newspapers and exchanged for new note books and stationeries.
The main aim behind organizing these programs is to create awareness and encourage people to protect the environment, Paving the way for a greener future.
