Geography activity Waste collection, Segregation and Safe disposal
Class 10 students were involved in a Geography activity on 12th December 2024 for Waste Segregation and Safe Disposal. 6 teams were made, each team was allotted a block, to collect waste, segregate and dispose them safely. Children wore face mask, and gloves, started energetically to their allotted areas. After one hour, they came back to ICSE block with their collection of waste materials.
They explained and educated the Group D workers about Segregation and safe disposal, practically showing them how to do it.
Finally, after disposal of waste items, they cleaned their hands with proper handwash and then entered their class rooms.
It was a very good learning experience for the children.
