ATL INTER HOUSE EXHIBITION / COMPETITION was organised in ICSE ATL LAB on 21/11/2023. Around 220 Students from classes 6 to 10 of different Houses - Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby participated and displayed nearly 70 different projects, which were based on Electronics, Health, Arduino, Sensor Agriculture, Cyber Security, Road safety, Awareness on climatic and natural calamities etc.
Judges from Engineering college appreciated the effort of our students.
Students explained confidentially and knowledgeably about their working projects and were enlightened to upgrade their projects for betterment of our society.
S.E.A ICSE Principal Mrs. Hema Malini and S.E.A ICSE Advisor Mr. Keith Vivian Boye also appreciated and congratulated the students on their excellent all-round performance.
The time when parents have forgotten the role and sacrifices of their old parents. Time to make the second generation to recall the value of the first generation to the third generation is creating a sacred unbreakable bond. On this auspicious celebration, competitions like dance, twinning were organized. Games like Spinning the top, marbles etc were played by the grandparents which reminded them of their childhood. Senior Students also entertained the grandparents by their dance performances.
Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated grandly at S.E.A, ICSE school. Students of all the classes participated to celebrate the joy of this special day. They performed dances, skits, sang songs and more to make this significant day a memorable one.
Children’s Day was celebrated on 16th in memory of our late Prime Minister Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru.
On this Children’s Day, the teachers performed dances, enacted skits to entertain the students.
Students from classes 3 to 8 went on educational trip to Talakadu. They visited places like Sommanatha Swamy Temple, Kaveri River, Barachukki Waterfalls and more. They thoroughly enjoyed the trip and explored more of Indian culture.
On 11th October 2023, we celebrated Dasara in our ICSE campus as Talent's Day. Girls made rangoli with flowers, rice flour, Kavi and different colour powders and decorated with Diya. V & VI std boys arranged the dolls beautifully. VII & VIII boys made an Effigy of Ravana, bow and arrow and they spoke about it. IX & X std students made Thoran using mango leaves, coconut leaves and flowers. Our pre-primary and primary students came in ethnic wear to show the festive gathering. They also participated in different competitions.
ISKCON Heritage Fest was conducted on 2nd September 2023. Many competitions like Radhe Krishna costume parade, Sloka and Vedic chanting, Rangoli, Classical Dance, Colouring were conducted in the school premises. Many of our students participated in the events and won prizes. MADHUMITHA of class 5 won 3rd place in Inter School Solo Rangoli Competition.

This year SEA ICSE celebrated India’s 76th Independence Day to remember the great sacrifices of great Indian freedom fighters.
On this occasion Band students welcomed our guest of honour our dear Mrs. Poornima, the C.E.O of SEA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS. The program began with the National flag hoisting by our C.E.O Mrs. Poornima and make us feel proud to see the ‘Tiranga’ our nation’s prestige. Further the students of scouts and guides along with the four different houses marched with the beat of the drums. An excellent coordination by band troops was observed. Our great trustee Mrs. Poornima delivered inspirational speech on this occassion .Continued with this was the award ceremonies for the Alumni’s who had great achievements in their work field, the X std distinction holders etc. Even All India GK examination Toppers received their cash prizes. Now comes the result of March Past and Band, where the guides and band students secured the First place and were awarded with Medals, Certificates and cash prizes.
Then comes the beautiful performance of the Bharatnatyam done by the girls of Primary classes. Even Drill with balls with different colours of flags was done by the students. It was the great day. A great smile on the great day of freedom. Sweets were distributed to complete the sweetness of the freedom celebration.

Orange Day was celebrated by the kindergarten department. Our little children were dressed in various shades of orange. They learnt different things related to the colour. Children were asked to bring orange-coloured objects like, crafts, toys, food etc. All the things were kept together and they learnt the names of all. Parents were also a part of the celebration. They enjoyed taking family photos with a lot of orange coloured photo props. It was a fun filled day to learn and identify the colour orange.
Talents Day was organized for the kindergarten Department on 19th July 2023. Children participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. The various themes were; Dress as your favourite cartoon character, dress according to the seasons and Show & Talk.
Talents Day is the best platform for the little ones to exhibit what they have learnt and express themselves. It also boosts children’s confidence and helps them overcome stage fright. It was a wonderful display of creativity and art.
World’s Yoga Day was observed on June 21st. Exercises are like Prose, whereas Yoga is the Poetry of movements. The study of Asanas is not about mastering posture. It’s about using posture to understand and transform oneself.
On the occasion of World’s Yoga Day, students were made to perform yoga asanas to create awareness about the invaluable benefits of yoga.
On June 14th elected school Captain and Vice-Captain, House Captains and Vice Captains and Perfects took the oath to perform their respective duties in order to maintain discipline and keep up the pride of the school.
Environmental Day is celebrated every year on June 5th all over the world. We celebrated Environmental Day in SEA ICSE on June 5th 2023. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest. Saplings were planted by the guest in our campus garden. The programme was followed by Rally by the students with the slogans ‘Save Nature Save Life’, ‘Go Green’ and ‘Beat Plastic Save Earth’ and so on.
Our youngsters of X ICSE demonstrated the preparation of organic manure that is chemical free manure using mud, dry leaves, vegetables and fruits, kitchen wastes. Not only that our students displayed different varieties of plants like Ornamental, Aesthetic, Air Purifier, Beauty and Wellness plants etc but also explained the importance of these plants gift by Mother Earth. Preparation of Varieties of organic manure like Verme Compost, Onion Peel water, Banana peel water also was displayed and explained so that people avoid using chemical fertilizers and save not only save human health but also mother earth’s health. Cutting of trees, increasing pollution and many other factors has resulted in global warming and thus to kill the heat and be healthy and fresh in summer. Many natural summer drinks like Amla juice, Fruit juice, Rose milk, Lemonade, Aam panna etc were prepared, displayed and served. It created real magic to kill the heat and to have a healthy mind, body and soul.
The aim behind organizing this programme was to create awareness and to encourage efforts to protect the environment and the result will surely be observed in the coming year.

Bagless days is a time when children come to school and participate in fun filled activities. These activities also focus on the overall development of children and to explore their hidden talents. The activities taken up by our school this year were Carpentry, Housekeeping, Dietetics, Gardening, Embroidery and Block Printing. With these we aim to bring out the positive changes in children. Education is organized through experience. The major goal of establishing these bagless days is to add more colours to student’s learning by training them in other areas apart from books. Children enjoyed these activities and participated with all interest.

February 25th was a day to cherish as we had the KG II convocation ceremony. A milestone day for our little ones as they wrap the last few days in their KG years. The KG I students bid farewell and Grade I students welcomed the graduating batch with their beautiful performances. We wish them good luck as they are ready to adorn the new colours of Grade I.

The graduation ceremony for the students of class 10 was held on the 17th of February. It was a memorable day for the outgoing batch. Their school journey began with us years back as they were little kindergarten children. Today they are ready to move into another chapter of their life. It's also a proud moment for the principal and all the teachers who have been a guide through this beautiful journey. We wish them luck and success in life.
The Talents Day for the kindergarten department was conducted on the 14th of February. All the children participated and presented their talents according to the given topics.

This Christmas season was a wonderful time of celebration. Children enjoys the beautiful decorations, singing and dancing. The secret Santa, gift exchange was one of the ways to share the happiness of the season with each other.
The first ever international cultural Jambooree was held from 21st to 27th Dec 2022 at Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodubidire, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. It was a great opportunity where 45 of our scouts and guides along with 3 teachers participated in various activities as adventure games, jungle trail etc. All the such days were filled with programs depicting our culture and traditions. It was a wonderful experience and a valuable platform of learning.
On 9th December 2022, we celebrated Sports Day in our school. We all gathered in the football ground. The program started with guard of honour. Then flag hoisting was done followed with march past by the students, arrival of torch, oath taking by house captains and the declaration of meet open. Even kindergarten students performed walk past. Chair students sang prayer song. And now started the actual highlight- students from Nursery to X std participated in various novelty race games like Santa race, Angel race, Balloon blasting, Obstacle course and so on. Relay for various classes was the highlight of the day. The Sports Day ended with National Anthem by the band.
We celebrated grandparents’ day on 3rd of December. The day was filled with happiness and excitement. We had grandparents participating in competition such as Twinning Fashion and Dance along with their grandchild. We also had games for the grandparents. This event was surely a memorable one and a reminder to all as we see the unconditional love, kindness, patience, humour, comfort and the lessons of life that come to us from our grandparents. Children enjoyed the celebration and the time spent with their grandparents.
Children’s Day that is ‘Bal Diwas ‘. Today’s children are tomorrow’s citizen. Children’s Day will be celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru on 14th November 2022. In our school teachers entertained students with various cultural programs like songs, dance and skits. Skits depicting how today students have forgotten the outdoor games and are addicted to mobiles was presented. Moreover, another skit showing students can opt for many other jobs other than engineering and medical was presented too.
Classes 6 to 10 of SEA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL were taken for an Educational Field trip to a Farm in Hoskote.
Farmers explained about the methods they use for growing different crops.
Children visited fields of beans, cabbage, beetroot, ginger, coriander and marigold flowers.
All these crops were irrigated either by Sprinkler or Drip irrigation.
Children took a long walk over the green field. From caring for the livestock, to planting the crops and tending the land, children enjoyed their day with their peers.
The farmers took them to a place where they prepare Compost for their crops.
Children learnt about the importance of Organic Farming, Use of bio fertilisers and cow dung. Farmers allowed the children to pick some fresh vegetables which children enjoyed thoroughly.
They had first-hand experience of the hard work undertaken by the farmers to grow crops and raise livestock.
By visiting the farm, children contributed towards building sustainable food system, restoring connection between food producers and food consumers.

They learnt to use GST way of calculating bill. Profit, loss and discount was also implemented in the Math Mela to have a better understanding of the concepts.
Kannada Rajyosthava was celebrated on 1st November with the motto of unification for kannada speaking region of South India. Cultural programmes were held in school, highlighting the great culture, art, history, tradition, personalities and cuisine of Karnataka.
Resource persons from the Postal Department GPO, conducted an activity with the high school students, where they were asked to write a letter to their parents/grandparents and it would be posted to their address. This was to create awareness among the young generation about the postal services and the benefits of the Postal Bank of India.
A workshop was conducted for the students by the ITC company. A lot of valuable information was shared to the students regarding Waste Management. They were encouraged to participate and be the one person who can bring about a change in the society, so that the future generations can see a clean and green environment and a better tomorrow.

SEA International School organised 'Plastic Ban Awareness Campaign ' as a part Children's Day Program Activities.
Classes 8,9 and 10 participated in the Rally along with their teachers.
They held banners and Flash cards against use of Plastic bags and covers.
They donated cloth/jute bags prepared from old clothes to each shop and house in the street.
As responsible citizens, they explained the harmful effects of plastic in our environment and encouraged use of Clothes/Jute bags.
They tried to empower people to make a difference in the society.
DIWALI / DEEPAVALI symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. Students decorated the bulletin board with articles related to Diwali festival
World Ozone Day is observed on September 16 every year to spread awareness among people about the depletion of Ozone Layer and find possible solutions to preserve it. On this day, people from all over the world hold talks and seminars on the ozone layer. Educators teach students about the benefits of the Ozone layer and special events and activities are organised to spread awareness.

Engineers' Day is observed in honour of the true essence of engineering and the birth anniversary of India's pioneer engineer-administrator Moksha Gundam Visvesvaraya.

Every year 14th September is celebrated as Hindi Diwas in India. Students performed different cultural programmes like songs, dances, drama and speech depicting the importance of the language. We must be proud of our great language Hindi and learn hindi being an Indian.
The cooking without fire competition was conducted by scouts and guides on 10th September 22. “Scouting is Outing” and the students learn various survival skills. Cooking without fire is one of the various activities that is conducted to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire, the necessity and the advantage of healthy eating and they learn basic survival skills. This activity also provides a platform for the students to showcase their talents. Students work in group, creating their own delicious dishes. It’s also an opportunity to build their decision-making skills. Above all these it’s one of their Proficiency Badge works that the student needs to work on to earn their cook badge.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in the country on the birthday of second president of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. To show the respect on the teachers for their significant work.
To celebrate this occasion, students performed dance and sang songs and also performed skit. Students also show their affection to the teachers by presenting handmade greeting cards and beautiful rose flowers.
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in our school on Aug 31st,2022 with great enthusiasm. The story related to this festival was narrated to the children. The children were dressed in ethnic wear. The ceremony got ended by pooja and distributing sweets to the children.
Dwitiya Sopan Testing camp, 27 scouts and guides attended the Dwitiya Sopan Testing camp held at the LA level in September 2022. It is the third level in the journey of scouting where the students are tested on various basic topics related to scouting. Here the test related to Dwitiya Sopan are conducted by independent examiners.
Our scouts participated in the Geetha Gayana Competition (Patriotic Singing) which is conducted at the LA level (Inter School).
We had various schools from the KR Puram Local Association that participated. Our scouts team won the First place and the guides team won the Third places.
Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on Aug19th, 2022 by our staff and students. Children came dressed up in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna. Students sang songs on lord Krishna and even performed dances.
Rajya Puraskar testing Camp, 18 of our scouts and guides successfully completed their Rajya Puraskar this year, which is the highest state level award for scouts and guides. This state level test is conducted by a team of qualified examiners at the state training centre Doddaballapur.
75th Independence Day was celebrated in our campus with great pomp and show our chief guest Mr. Srinivasa gave a wonderful speech on Independence Day. Many colourful cultural activities were performed by the students and even prizes are distributed for the merit students. The celebrations ended followed by a delicious lunch for all the attendees.
Kargil Vijay Diwas is commemorating every 26th July in India, to observe India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil war for ousting Pakistani forces from their occupied positions on the mountain tops of Northern Kargil District in Ladakh in 1999. Role play is done by higher class students.

On 6th June, Environment Day was celebrated in the school to make them aware of the present situation of our planet Earth and what can we do to save our mother Earth.
All the students eagerly participated gifting their friends a plant, emphasizing its importance and their dedication to save and preserve mother Earth.
They were even made aware of the wastage of electricity and water they do and should take certain steps like switch off the fans, lights and appliances not in use and also turn off the water taps when not in use by using electricity audit and water audit.
It was a great success and made a difference as the way students viewed the problems and act positively to save our nature, our Mother Earth.
